Nowhere to start.  Nowhere to begin.  In the life of a busy mom, the days and late nights blur together.  Being an ER physicians wife doesn't help the weird hours as it makes you want to stay up later or sleep alone some  nights.  The boys, James now 4.5 year old, and Mason who is 2.5 years old, are so fun.  They are energetic and silly.  Mason has come into his own and has been saying new, fully formed sentence that are simple and straightforward.    As I write this post, I only have 6 minutes until Delissa, our part time helper/nanny, leaves and I take over the relentless, curious questioning of two blossoming minds.

Dear Lord,

Give me the strength and the words to instill wisdom and faith in the two most precious gifts you have ever given me.  Of course, faith is from you but may I show them what that means and that it's not about actions directly but about the heart.  I would be lost without your direction and your peace.

Things are crazy.. when are they not?  Just wanted to post some photos as of late.  Summer has been mild with lots of rain.  We've had some fun at the pool.  James was petrified to go under water the whole month of May and first part of June and finally took the plunge while at seven sisters with the family.  Jim gave me pearls for my birthday and anniversary :)  Mason is talking so much now.  He reminds me so much of James at this age.  They are very similar right now.  I suppose that will change.  I don't even know where to start and/or what information to include so it will be random.

Mary Shelton, my sister Ellen's daughter, turned 2!!  We went to Macon and had a good time.

Looking through the photos, I can add updates as I go.  For example, the oldest photos were from around the time Michelle Bloch got married in April in Fairhope, AL.  That was a blast.  The wedding was gorgeous and the reception was super fun.
